skokie paver walkway
This paver walkway was refinished by 123 Remodeling. Our contractors removed a 2 foot wide concrete walkway, expanded to 3 feet, finished with brick and it was sealed for weatherproofing. The walkway began by removing the existing concrete, layering with processed gravel that was tamped into place using a plate compactor, sand was then poured and also tamped with a plate compactor and leveled, and finished with a beautiful red brick with a light trim brick paver that was filled with sand and tamped again using the plate compactor. The walkway was then sealed to protect the texture and surface of the pavers. Sealers are available in low sheen, high and low gloss, matte, and flat finishes.
